Redondo Beach, 1996
An assignment was given to watch a television program without sound & rewrite the script - then construct a non-linear narrative based on that content. After watching an episode of "Girls," I wrote about 4 girls taking a trip to the beach in August 1996.
The non-linear narrative could be manifested in anyway the student wanted. Using found objects and objects of my own creation I compiled a folder of memories of the fictitious trip. Fragments of the dialogue I wrote are hidden within the folder - with each character assigned a different typeface.
